Kansas City Holiday Fashion

Hi Loves,

December is the one month where it’s completely acceptable to BE EXTRA, especially in the fashion department. Not many people will think twice if you go out wearing a light up necklace, a sequined gingerbread house purse, or a glittery two-piece set.

For this holiday season, I have been sticking to classic colors such as black, white, and red. Not only has it kept my Instagram feed more cohesive (everything has to be aesthetically pleasing), it has allowed me to wear bold accessories while keeping things simple and chic.

Here’s a guide full of inspiration for your next holiday outing in Kansas City.

Girl’s Night Out at Miracle KC

This is one of my favorite looks ever. The leather pants, the ruched bodysuit, the pearls… it’s a heavenly combination! Perfect for a GNO at a holiday-themed cocktail bar.

Going to a Holiday Party

I have had this sequin tunic in my closet forever! I found it at Half of Half. It’s originally made by Nicole Richie’s line, House of Harlow. This piece is definitely a statement, so I paired it with leather leggings and a classic black heel.

Sequin Tunic: House of Harlow

Leather Leggings: Haute & Rebellious

Checking Out The Country Club Plaza Lights

I have been living for the leather pants, tucked into leather lug boots combination. I keep seeing New York fashion bloggers style their clothing this way, and I am obsessed! It makes a basic outfit appear edgy and interesting.

Walking Around Holiday Reflections at Union Station

When visiting a train station, one must wear the appropriate hat (haha)! Seriously though, this outfit is perfect to snap a few photos in and comfortable enough to walk the grand hall at Union Station.

Shopping Local At The Merry Market

Dressing warm is key for this event. This oversized shacked from H&M is everything and ridiculously warm. My “bug squasher” boots are also perfect for a day full of Christmas shopping.

Going to The Nutcracker Ballet

The nutcracker ballet is timeless and a symbol of Christmas. It’s nostalgic in the every sense of the word. For this occasion, people typically dress up and wear their nicest shade of red lipstick and prettiest heels.

Bralette: Free People

Purse: Thrifted

Ice Skating At Crown Center

A Kansas City classic, ice skating at Crown Center. It feels like something straight out of a Hallmark movie, probably because Hallmark’s headquarters is located there. For this outfit, I wanted something flexible, not going to show major watermarks, and still trendy.
