For The Love Of Boots – The Perfect Fall Boot To Style Your Everyday Look

The month of October was a blur. It took no prisoners and left me feeling drained. I am blessed with all the amazing opportunities that happened, but baby, I felt like life had the upper hand and I was along for the ride. Man-oh-man, I am ready for some downtime. November is officially my month of self care. With that being said, I signed up for two different runs to get ready for a half marathon. I got control and cleaned up my eating habits. Yes, so hard to do, but I gained energy that poor eating robs you of. If you watch my Friday Favorites on Instagram, then you know I have been doing a lot of self reflection and writing in a five year journal. I also updated my closet and gained a new pair of exquisite boots that are perfect for an active, busy lifestyle.

My jam is the Western inspired booties because they work for everyday wear along with festivals and concerts. Comfort is key when you are on your feet for hours at a time.

I picked up the Causeway boots in sable (olive green color) and they paired perfectly with my Steve Jobs inspired outfit. You can never go wrong with a classic black turtleneck and black jeans. The subtle pop of green from the boots was exactly what my outfit needed to be taken to the next level. I absolutely love this style of boot because the buckles on them give it such an edgy vibe. I could see them paired with an old band tee or even with a midi floral dress and leather jacket. The options are honestly endless because they are a neutral color and the right height to conquer the world!

To top off my outfit, I added a lightweight army green jacket (it was really a button down shirt worn as a jacket) from Forever 21. It has been freezing in the Midwest, so a jacket was an absolute must! Same with wearing a beanie…I would accessorize every outfit with one because they are my vibe.
