Scooby Doo and the Gang Costumes

Share

Ruh-roh! “Danger-Prone Daphne is NOT stuck again” this Halloween. She created a costume for her and the gang to wear. Today’s post is going to unravel the mystery of where everything is from. Clue: You may find some of the pieces in your closet!

“Scooby-Doody-Doo

Where are you?

We got some work to do now.”

Why Scooby Doo?

I have a deep love for Scooby Doo. One year my parents asked me where I wanted to go on vacation. My response was to see Scooby Doo. We traveled to St. Louis Six Flags so I could hug Scooby and ride the Mystery Machine. Not much has changed since childhood. My dog is a beloved Great Dane named Sky who has many expressions just like Scooby. Recently, she stole a cheeseburger right off the kitchen table. We all know how Scooby loves his Scooby Snacks. Sky does too.

Another interesting fact: Bryce has never wanted to participate in wearing a couples costume. It just wasn’t his jam. I’m not sure what changed this season but welcome Fred Jones.

“It looks like we have another mystery on our hands.”

How to Create Fred’s Costume:

White pullover: Amazon

Orange Scarf: Hobby Lobby $1

Jeans, blue button-down shirt and boots were all items that Bryce had in his closet.

Flashlight was my dad’s

Let’s Talk Daphne Blake’s Costume:

Dress: Princess Polly Dominique Mini Dress Purple (any purple dress, jumpsuit, skirt and top combination would work)

Scarf: Amazon X&F Women’s Solid Satin Charmeuse Square Scarf  (green fabric from JoAnn’s would work too)

Boots: Amazon Funtasma by Pleaser Lime Stretch Patent GoGo Boot (I sized up for comfort)

Lavender Headband: Amazon 2 Inch Wide Satin Headband

Magnifying Glass: Amazon U.S. Toys Jumbo 9” Plastic

Scooby-Dooby-Doo Pet Costume

SD ID tag: Amazon ComfyPup Stuffed SD Tag Clip-On

Scooby Doo Collar: Amazon Buckle-Down Dog Collar with Seat Belt Buckle (heavy)

Zoinks! Amazon saved the day with convenience however, by rounding up a few key clothing items you could recreate these looks for any last minute parties. Thrift stores are a great resource and so are friend’s closets. Include your fur baby in the family fun. Hope you have a safe and Happy Halloween.

Just remember “Scooby Doo taught us that the real monsters are humans” so be kind peeps.

Until next time, Spread Kindness.
