Hi Loves,

As we all know, decorating for the holidays is my absolute favorite.

Welcome to Bryce and I’s 2021 apartment tour! Step inside and let me tell you a little bit about our place.

Front Door

I have mixed feelings about the blue walls in our hallway. Our complex has been repainting everything which is great, I’m just not sure about their choice of blue haha! These mini trees are from Walmart. The colored lights really pop off the walls. I filled the base with pinecones.

Entryway

I was so in love with our black feathered garland for Halloween, that I wanted something similar for Christmas. I really like the weight of the garland on the mirror. The vase being on the opposite side really grounds it. The stems are all from Crate and Barrel aside from the juniper. I picked up that stem at Family Tree Nursery last year.

Dining Room

My mom had the coolest idea — to hang these clear spheres from our ceiling. I have seen this done a ton at weddings, but we added little sprigs of pine and white sand to give it more of a Christmas look. We purchased the spheres from the Dollar tree! The white sand helps hide the bottom of the tea light. Each of the spheres have a remote controlled tea light in it. They really glow at night.

Bar

Another new addition to this year’s decor are these awesome glass trees. The smaller ones were found in the Target dollar section, and the larger ones were from CB2. I love the look of them on the bar. They are so mod!

Kitchen

Bryce ordered this amazing garland from target and we wrapped it with a ton of lights! It makes our kitchen feel so festive, especially in the evening. We also put trees in each corner above our cabinets. They also came from Target.

Living Room

Our tree this year has quite the story to it. Last year while I was thrifting, I saw this massive 9ft pre-lit tree for only $20. I bought it immediately, knowing that we would use it next year. Unfortunately it was covered in lights that no longer worked, so I guess you could say that my blood, sweat and tears went into this tree. Bryce, my mom, my brother and I all worked to remove the previous lights out of it.

This year’s tree also has a ton of meaning to me because my grandmother let my brother and I go through her ornaments and pick what we wanted. Our tree is full of memories from when I was a child and ornaments that have been past down from generation to generation. There is something special to be said when you look at an ornament and it takes you back to a specific time in your life. You can read about my favorite ornaments here!

It doesn’t look like a white Christmas will be in the books for us this year, so we bought our own snowflake lights from Amazon. We have them hanging in the window and LOVE them.

When Bryce and I were in Chicago, he purchased a wooden tree candle from Anthropologie. It’s the cutest candle I’ve ever seen and it’s refillable.

Check out last year’s decor here. Merry Christmas!

Until next time, Spread Kindness.
