Hi Loves,
In honor of celebrating America’s Independence Day, I’m sharing some red, white, and boozy cocktails to make your holidays lit. Fourth of July has always been one of my favorite holidays to celebrate. Growing up in a very Italian neighborhood, our friends went all out with fireworks displays. Let’s just say Disney had some major competition. We would close off an entire street and gather our family and friends for the ultimate festivities.
Mixing up a patriotic cocktail to share at your Fourth of July gathering will be the perfect touch to kick off your summer celebrations. These alcohol infused concoctions are simple and require very few ingredients. Enjoy!

Boozy Cherry Bombs
Recipe originally found on Delish.com
Ingredients
- 2 (10-oz.) jar maraschino cherries with stems, drained
- 1/3 c. Fireball Whiskey
- 1/3 c. whipped cream flavored vodka
- 1 c. of white chocolate chips
- 1 (3.5-oz) jar blue sanding sugar — found mine at Target
Directions
- Drain cherries and place in a medium size bowl. Pour Fireball and vodka into bowl, completely submerging cherries. Soak for 3 hours in the refrigerator. Drain the cherries and pat dry using a paper towel.
- Place white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and heat in intervals. Make sure to stir in between each interval to avoid burning.
- Dip the bottom of the cherry into the white chocolate
- Dip cherry into blue sanding sugar, coating halfway up the white chocolate layer.
- Place in fridge for 20 minutes for chocolate and sugar to set.

America the Blue-tiful Slushy
Recipe originally found on Cosmopolitan.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. white rum
- 1 oz. Blue Curacao
- 3 oz. Sparkling Ice Lemonade
- 1 1/4 cup of ice
- Dash of lime
Directions
Pour all ingredients into blender and mix until it becomes a slushy consistency. Add festive garnishes and blueberries.
Pro Tip: After making this frozen cocktail, I had my mixologist (Bryce) taste test it. He suggested adding lime juice to the mixture giving it more of a limey taste.

Whiskey Root Beer Float

Directions

Pro tip: Spray whipped topping and garnish with a cherry and chocolate sprinkles
I hope these 4th of July mixed drink ideas sparked your creative juices and ignited your cocktail mixing game. “Freedom is nothing but a chance to be better” -Albert Camus.
